DESCRIPTION:In celebration of National Kite Month in April and something we haven’t done for many years. \nI’m inviting all kids and adults young at heart to a friendly kite flying contest\, Sunday April 11th\, 11am till 12:30pm at Gauley Field in Silvis. \nFree hot dogs and soda provided\, prizes will be awarded for the highest kite flown\, biggest kite\, smallest kite and the best homemade kite. \nA special thank you to the Silvis Fire Department as they will be grilling the hot dogs\, and Silvis Main Street for providing the prizes. We ask all participants to exercise social distance during this event.
