SUMMARY:YWCA Quad Cities RACE AGAINST RACISM 2021
DESCRIPTION:The 3rd annual Race Against Racism is scheduled for May 22\, 2021\, with a race course that travels along the Mississippi River waterfront\, starting and finishing at Lindsay Park Yacht Club in Davenport.  A 5k run or walk option is available\, as well as a 1-mile fun run. What makes this event unique is that in addition to the race element\, there is a special recognition ceremony for Race Against Racism Honorees. Nominations are encouraged and accepted for individuals who are actively taking a stand against racism either through their words\, actions or volunteerism and inspiring change which has had a positive impact on our community.
