SUMMARY:2024 Springfield Youth Day and Washington D.C Youth Tour
DESCRIPTION:JCE Co-op participates in the Youth Day in Springfield\, IL and Youth Tour to Washington D.C sponsored through the Association of Illinois Electric Cooperatives (AIEC) and its member cooperatives\, this tour allows high school students an opportunity to get a closer look at their state and federal governments. \nYouth Tour  – March 20\,2024 – Students will spend the day March 20\, 2024.  Youth will have the opportunity to learn how government works\, why it’s important for every citizen to get involved in it and to meet State Senators and Representatives during this annual event\, held in Springfield. \nYouth Tour – June 14-21-2024 – JCE Co-op will send two students on the weeklong all-expense-paid trip to Washington\, D.C.
