The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will be holding informational conferences across the state to present three grant programs that could help fund your next transportation project. Those three grant programs include: Economic Development Program (EDP), Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program (ITEP), and Safe Routes to School Program (SRTS).
The agency will be available for two days in each IDOT District area to offer general information about each program and answer your specific questions one-on-one to help interested parties take advantage of funding available from these programs.
IDOT will be in Representative Tony McCombie’s area on June 13-14th. The goal of these information sessions is to foster an understanding of grant programs available, help design smart projects, write informative and compelling applications, and understand the project initiation and completion process.
