“We have 10 days to work together in a bipartisan manner to accomplish the ‘Capitol Compromise.’ The special session gives us the opportunity to show unity among Republicans and Democrats in the legislature. I am still truly optimistic we can work in a bipartisan manner to bring the budget stalemate to an end by the July 1st deadline.” said Rep. McCombie. “Every day I hear from constituents on how the budget impasse is negatively affecting them. I will continue to work towards finding a bipartisan compromise to give the people of District 71 the BALANCED BUDGET they deserve.”
