The Illinois Department of Transportation announces that IL 92, in the City of Joslin, will be closed to all through traffic from Monday, October 22 through Friday, October 26, 2018. The closure will allow the BNSF Railway to remove and replace their at-grade crossing located on IL 92, just east of I-88.
To allow continued traffic movement, a detour will be posted utilizing County Highway 25 (286th Street), Old IL 2, and 38th Avenue North.
Drivers are asked to be alert for the road closure and use alternate roadways when traveling in this area.
Please reduce speed and use extreme caution while driving through all work zones.
