State Representative Tony McCombie will be hosting a Pet Rescue Fair with Happy Tails Humane Society on Saturday, December 11. The event will allow area residents to meet adoptable pets, learn about state programs, and even take advantage of reduced adoption fees.
“We have always been a pet family and share our home today with Miss Molly,” said Rep. McCombie. “Shelters and humane societies are overflowing and we hope that this will help begin the process of placing available rescue pets with loving owners before the end of the year.”
The Pet Rescue Fair will be hosted from 9:00am to 12:00pm (Noon) on Saturday, December 11 at Happy Tails Humane Society at 1408 McNeil Road in Rock Falls. Attendees may take the event as an opportunity to meet adoptable pets, donate pet food or supplies to help feed pets in need at Happy Tails, learn about state programs and meet Representative McCombie and the staff at the Humane Society.
