The Lame Duck Session of the 102nd General Assembly convened in Springfield this week, taking action on bills sponsored by the supermajority party to expand abortion services, ban guns, and give legislators pay hikes. The Lame Duck Session will continue in Springfield early next week before the swearing-in of the 103rd General Assembly on Wednesday, January 11.
