The Lame Duck Session of the 102nd General Assembly concluded its business in Springfield this week before the swearing-in of the 103rd General Assembly on Wednesday, January 11. At that time, Representative Tony McCombie was elevated to the position of House Republican Leader for the 103rd General Assembly. McCombie named her leadership team on Thursday and the Illinois House recessed until a January 31 return date.
