McCombie Bill to Create Child Abuse Awareness Month Moves Forward

Today, House Republican Leader Tony McCombie (Savanna) passed a bill in the State Government Administration Committee to make the month of April Child Abuse Awareness Month.

The measure, House Bill 3218, will promote the awareness and prevention of child abuse across the State. The bill had wide support, and passed unanimously when she presented it for review.
