McCombie to Host Post-Session Events to Update Constituents

With the spring legislative session heading towards a close, House Republican Leader Tony McCombie has planned a series of “End of Session Wrap-Up Events” with fellow members of the Illinois House and local leaders. These events are an opportunity for lawmakers to update constituents on what was accomplished this year in the legislature and listen to constituent feedback.

“Making myself available across my legislative district has been my top priority over the last six years. I am excited to be back in the 89th District to update constituents on how I’m fighting for them in the statehouse,” said Representative McCombie.

All the events are free to attend and open to the public. The first stop will be Tuesday, May 30th at Genoa City Hall with State Representative Jeff Keicher (Sycamore) from 5:00pm-6:00pm. The second event will be held at Highland Community College in Freeport with State Representative John Cabello (Machesney Park) and Freeport Mayor Jodi Miller on Thursday, June 1st from 11:30am-1:00pm. The Final event will be held on June 7th at the Warren Community Building from 2:30—4:00pm with Warren Village President Kirk Raab.
