During the floor debate of legislation that would silence crisis pregnancy centers across Illinois, House Minority Leader Tony McCombie spoke out in strong opposition to the measure.
Illinois has nearly 100 crisis pregnancy centers that offer ultrasounds, pregnancy testing, and resources to those who need them. But under legislation that passed under the Democrat majority’s watch in the General Assembly, a bill to make it easier to sue these centers for deception passed easily and currently awaits the Governor’s signature.
