Every June, the National Safety Council marks National Safety Month by providing educational information on emergency preparedness, slips, trips, and falls, heat-related illness, and hazard recognition.
The National Safety Council was founded in 1913 and is located in Itasca, IL. They are America’s leading nonprofit safety advocate and have been for more than 100 years. The focus of the organization is on areas they feel it make the greatest impact: workplace, roadway and impairment.
