State Representative Tony McCombie is hosting an a Free Shred Event in Freeport on Saturday October 7th alongside State Representative John M. Cabello. The event will be held:

Location: Highland Community College | 2998 West Pearl City Rd. Freeport, IL. | Parking Lot D
The Representatives recommend residents use this event as a chance to safely and securely dispose of any paper documents that contain sensitive personal information.
“Like all the events my office hosts, we hope that this free Shred Event will make the lives of residents simpler,” stated Representative Cabello. “Please mark your calendars and use this event convenient offering being provide by my office.”
Shredding important paper documents is a key step to take to ensure that personal information is not comprised, and residents remain safe from possible identity theft.
State Representative Tony McCombie added, “With the rise of identity fraud and theft, this event is an essential step to take to protect you and your family. We hope area residents stop by to see us and dispose of any necessary papers they have.”
This event is free and open to all residents of the 89th and 90th House Districts. Attendees are encouraged to limit their items for shredding to only two bankers boxes as the event will end once the truck reaches capacity.
