Nearly every day, millions of children across the United States line up to ride the bus to school. The school bus is one of the safest modes of transportation, but illegal school bus passing poses a significant threat to children and their caretakers.
This National School Bus Safety Week, State Representative Tony McCombie is encouraging residents to remember to prepare to stop when you see yellow flashing lights on a school bus and to stop completely when the red stop arm is extended. Together, we can all make the effort to keep students safe on their routes to school!
