The Illinois House of Representatives will reconvene on Tuesday, November 7 in Springfield. The House Rules Committee met on Wednesday, November 1, to examine bills on the House agenda for assignment to the House floor or to committees. Numerous House committees have posted hearing notices for next week.
In case you missed it, House Minority Leader Tony McCombie held a press conference during the first week of veto session to discuss Republican priorities. Those priorities have not yet been addressed and will again be the focus for House Republicans heading into this second and final week of veto session.
