International Women’s Day is a time to recognize the cultural, economic, and political accomplishments and contributions of women. Today, House Minority Leader Tony McCombie wants to thank all the trailblazing women who worked to achieve gender equality in the United States and across the globe!
This week Leader McCombie hosted an event that brought together female leaders from across Illinois; these are women making a difference in their communities and working to make our state the best it can be for future generations. Recognizing that leadership in all corners of the state, and across all industries, was a great way to lead up to today: a celebration of women everywhere!
