This week lawmakers returned to Springfield for another week of legislative session in the Illinois House. House Republican Leader Tony McCombie held a press conference in the Capitol to demand transparency from Democratic leaders surrounding the migrant crisis, met with advocacy groups in her office, and wore red to raise awareness about heart disease and its impact on women.
