In light of the recent passing of Pope Francis, Illinois House Minority Tony McCombie issued the following statement:
“Throughout the world, people mourn the passing of Pope Francis, the 266th Bishop of Rome. He led with humility, spoke with compassion, and inspired millions through both word and action. His legacy as the people’s pope will not be forgotten. May he rest in peace.”
