House Minority Leader Tony McCombie recently gathered her women in agriculture advisory group for a tour of John Deere Harvester Works. Located in East Moline, it is one of the world’s largest and most modern combine production facilities.
The group was able to learn about the company’s vast history, take a tour of the manufacturing plant, and take a seat in a combine on display in the visitor’s center.
John Deere has a historic record of innovation in agriculture–but their impact goes beyond that. They are integral in Illinois and the House Minority Leader enjoyed bringing her advisory group on site to understand the compassion and purpose behind their products.
