Mobile DMV Coming to Byron: Reserve Your Spot Today!

Illinois House Minority Leader Tony McCombie is partnering with the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office to bring DMV services directly to area residents. Leader McCombie is hosting an upcoming “Mobile DMV” event in Byron, giving residents the opportunity to access regular DMV services, like renewing their Illinois driver’s licenses, purchasing vehicle license plate stickers, and more. The upcoming event will be held:

Byron Public Library

100 S. Washington St. Byron, IL 61010

Registration is required for the event, and Leader McCombie is encouraging residents to make their appointment today by visiting RepMcCombie.com.

“This event is designed to bring the DMV directly to you, so you can have the convenience of taking care of your DMV needs in one easy stop,” said McCombie. “It’s all about saving you time and making your experience as smooth and stress-free as possible.”

At the November 20th event, the following services will be available:

  • Renewal/Correction of Driver’s License
  • New/Renewal/Correction of State ID
  • Vehicle Sticker Sales (License Plate)
  • Organ/Tissue Donor Information and Registration (at time of DL/ID Renewal)
  • Motor Voter Registration with Driver’s License/ID Renewal
  • Real ID Applications

Driver’s tests will NOT be administered. Patrons are required to present proper identification at the time of service.  A complete list of acceptable forms of identification is available at the Secretary of State website

Acceptable forms of payment include personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit and debit cards. Cash cannot be accepted.  Please note that seniors age 75 and up need to visit a DMV to renew a driver’s license.
