Ferrero North America—home to iconic brands like Keebler®, Butterfinger®, Nutella®, Kinder®, Tic Tac®, and more—marked a major milestone in May 2024 with the opening of its first-ever chocolate processing facility in North America and its third globally.
Last week, Illinois House Minority Leader Tony McCombie visited the state-of-the-art facility in Bloomington to see the innovation behind the beloved brands up close. During her tour, Leader McCombie had the opportunity to explore the chocolate-making process from start to finish and learn firsthand about the advanced technology, skilled workforce, and investment that power Ferrero’s U.S. operations.
Her visit highlights Ferrero’s continued growth in Illinois and its commitment to expanding local manufacturing, creating jobs, and bringing even more world-class confections to consumers across North America.
