State Representative Tony McCombie is hosting an upcoming senior fair at DeKalb High School, 501 Dresser Road, on Wednesday, July 12th. The event is free, open to the public, and will run from 10am—noon.
This event encourages area senior citizens to learn about how they can save money, have fun, and take advantage of free health screenings. There will be dozens of vendors available from area businesses, organizations, and state agencies aimed at helping seniors in every aspect of their lives.
Representative McCombie is hosting alongside State Senators Sue Rezin (Morris) and Dave Syverson (Cherry Valley), and State Representatives Jeff Keicher (DeKalb) and Bradley Fritts (Dixon).
“This event will provide local senior citizens with an understanding that resources and services are available to them to help lead healthy, happy lives—many of them right here in the community,” said McCombie.
The Representative encourages all interested senior citizens to attend the Senior Fair!
Light refreshments will be served. With questions about the upcoming event, contact Rep. McCombie’s district office at 815-291-8989.
