This week the Illinois House of Representatives honored Lee Milner, a decorated and accomplished photojournalist; read more about his storied career here. Leader McCombie spoke on the House Floor to express House Republicans’ gratitude for his work.
Members of the House Republican Leadership team met with the Consulate-General of Japan, Jun Yanagi. The Consul General Spoke to the Illinois House of Representatives before meeting with members and discussing economic opportunities.
There were great visitors in the state capitol this week: Realtors from Leader McCombie’s area were in town and made sure to stop the Leader in the capitol for photo!
Leader McCombie also welcomed advocates from the Women’s Justice Institute to her Capitol office. They discussed legislation they are backing, HB5431, which is pending in the Illinois House.
House Minority Leader Tony McCombie spoke to the Illinois Chamber, which brought together over a hundred business leaders from across the state. She also spoke to the United Counties Council of Illinois.
McCombie met with the Will County Government League (left) and the Bolingbrook and Joliet Chamber of Commerce (right).
The Illinois Horseman Association came to Leader McCombie’s Capitol office for a visit.
Members of the Southern Illinois University Public Policy Institute stopped Leader McCombie in the capitol rotunda this week!
