House Minority Leader Tony McCombie was out and about at home in her 89th Legislative District. Lawmakers were not scheduled to be in session this week, so McCombie took the time to attend a variety of events in the communities that make up the 89th District!
McCombie joined State Rep. Brad Fritts at the Polo Fire Department!
Leader McCombie also visited the Northwest Illinois Model Railroad Club; located in Carroll County in the town of Chadwick. It is a dream for train enthusiasts and model train fans! The club was started in 2003 and continues to grow; club members extend west to Iowa and north to Freeport and Lena.
Leader McCombie also had a set up at the Jo Daviess County Senior Expo in Galena; it was a great opportunity providing resources to seniors in the area.
The Leader also provided constitution booklets and other helpful information at the King’s School Career Fair!
Leader McCombie continues to provide access to her district office across Northwest Illinois: this week she held mobile office hours in East Dubuque. These events are a great opportunity for area residents to access the resources her office provides at a convenient location.
The Chadwick Fire Dept. Breakfast had a great turnout! Leader McCombie was happy to be there to enjoy the great meal surrounded by first responders, and plenty of constituents!
