House Minority Leader Tony McCombie spent time in her legislative district this week. Highlights from the week included visits to Wildberry Farms in Hanover and the Galena History Museum.
Leader McCombie took a tour of Wildberry Farms, which was named the 2021 Environmental Steward of the Year by Illinois Beef Association. The Leader met with owner Jim Berry and Cattle Manager Ben Lehman who showed her the impressive operation. Check out this video to learn more about the farms!
Next up: Leader McCombie toured the Galena History Museum. The museum holds a number of incredible artifacts including letters, and exhibits that tell Galena’s great history–including a wide range of collections ranging from one of Ulysses S. Grant’s cigar butts to 3-D holograms . U.S. Grant was eventually added to the museum’s name to signify Grant’s legacy as one of Galena’s most well-known and preeminent residents: a businessman, leader of Union troops during the Civil War, 18th President of the country, and revered husband and father.
