Photos: This Week in the 89th District

House Minority Leader Tony McCombie joined State Senator Andrew Chesney in giving a legislative update to the Genoa Chamber of Commerce. Leader McCombie and Sen. Chesney are pictured above with DeKalb County Clerk and Recorder Tasha Sims, Genoa Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Krissy Johnson, DeKalb County Board member Kathy Lampkins, and Genoa Mayor Jonathan Brust.

There was a community school supply drive to help area students get ready to head back to the classroom for the new year!

Did you know Leader McCombie has a FREE museum pass available to the 89th District? Area families can utilize the pass to visit some of Chicago’s world-class museums! Recently, a family from Byron used the pass to take in a great dolphin show at the Shed…if you are interested, reach out to the District Office to find out more about the free pass!

Leader McCombie visited CSL Behring’s Kankakee manufacturing site this week alongside State Representative Jackie Haas. She was able to chat with their management leaders, learn about the manufacturing process, and see firsthand how the site operates.
