McCombie Welcomes Visitors to Springfield

Last week was a busy day in the Illinois State Capitol. Multiple advocacy groups and organizations came to Springfield to meet with lawmakers and make their positions known on legislation.

Leader McCombie made time to speak with the Illinois Chamber and United Counties Councils of Illinois:

Homeschooling families also descended upon the Capitol in masses to make their opposition known to HB2827, a bill that would add more regulation and mandates on families who choose to homeschool their children. The House Minority Leader supported their efforts, met with families in the Capitol, and held a press conference to emphasize her staunch opposition to the legislation.
