House Minority Leader Tony McCombie joined her colleagues in Springfield for a tour of Scheels Sports Park. The impressive 276-acre venue has several outdoor sports fields and also houses the nation’s largest indoor dome.
For McCombie, the tour provided a hands-on look into a great economic driver for the area.
“From viewing the fields to walking through the dome, it is an impressive venue that will serve athletes, businesses, and families across the state,” said McCombie. “It was a perfect start to the day to take it all in before we get back to action at the Capitol!”
