With the official start of summer, Illinois House Minority Leader Tony McCombie has concluded her spring photo contest and is proud to announce this year’s contest winners and their works:
- Pups: Submitted by Donavan and Mandy DeWitt, Savanna
- Sunset Farmer: Submitted by Michelle Hubbard, Mt. Carroll
- Before the Storm: Submitted by Trent Jordan, Chadwick
This year’s contest drew an impressive number of submissions, showcasing the beauty, character, and spirit of northwest Illinois through a variety of outstanding photographs.
“Every year I look forward to reviewing submissions that capture the best of northwest Illinois from its people and communities to the landscapes throughout! I am thrilled to celebrate the winners and share their works in the State Capitol,” said Leader McCombie. The annual Spring Photo Contest continues to have strong participation from residents, and Leader McCombie looks forward to hosting it again next year.
