Celebrate summer with a sweet local tradition at the McConnell Strawberry Social! The McConnell Area Historical Society will be serving from 2–6 PM on Sunday, July 12, with barbecue sandwiches, hot dogs and coney dogs, Mrs. Mike’s chips, baked beans, lemonade and coffee. Save room for dessert featuring strawberries with Cedar Crest ice cream or angel food cake topped with strawberries and whipped cream! Suggested donations are $15 for a meal including dessert or $8 for dessert only. All proceeds benefit the McConnell Area Historical Society and museum.
