Monday, November 4
Rep. McCombie visited the Moline Rotarians, where she heard a wonderful presentation on The Ghost Army (WWII)! Rotary Assistant District Governor of Area 4, Allen Przysucha, is doing a great job getting around!
After meeting with the Police Chiefs of Moline and East Moline to discuss current happenings and getting a tour of the Moline Department, Senator Anderson and Rep. McCombie hosted a coffee chat at the Candlelight Inn in Sterling. Thanks to all that came and felt comfortable to share your thoughts and concerns!
Tuesday, November 5
Rep. McCombie visited Rock Island Rotary today with Mayor Mike Thoms. Not sure how he snuck away without getting a picture! Following that meeting, Rep. McCombie was on-hand for superintendent of Rock Island-Milan, Dr. Lawrence, being installed as a new Rotarian.
Wednesday, November 6
Thank you Senator Brian Stewart for hosting your annual Law Enforcement Summit. We heard from officers from the NW Illinois Region and look forward to working with them all to make Illinois the very best place to live.
Friday, November 8
Representative McCombie hosted a “District 71 Stakeholders” meeting. She was able to hear the concerns and questions from attendees. The audience was also joined but Representative Tom Demmer, Mick Welding from the Morrison Community Hospital, and Lucien DeBatty of Canna Consultants.
Saturday, November 9
Morrison Hospital Foundation hosted their 11th Annual Gala on Saturday night… A Tribute to Veterans. The work that went into the event was amazing and their tribute to veterans was selfless! Bravo!!
