Preventing Violence in Faith Communities Free Training

FREE TRAINING on threat assessment for houses of worship, presented by the U.S. Secret Service Preventing Targeted Violence in Faith Communities:
A Behavior-Based Approach

Acts of targeted violence against houses of worship are a real—and potentially growing—problem in the United States and a top priority for Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul. The U.S. Secret Service National Threat Assessment Center (NTAC) for more than 20 years has conducted research on the thinking and behaviors of those who commit acts of targeted violence, in an effort to prevent future acts from occurring. These attacks have impacted communities in the places that we live our daily lives, including houses of worship.

This presentation will include:

This is a FREE virtual training. The material presented will take into account the unique considerations of faith leaders as they address both the spiritual and safety needs of congregants and the surrounding community.

This is NOT active shooter response training.
