American Legion Post 296 Inaugural Golf Outing

– American Legion Post 296 announces its Inaugural  Golf Outing.  As part of this year’s Centennial Celebration the post introduces a golf outing open to the public. The caveat? Each team must have at least one veteran among them. The outing is scheduled to take place Saturday, September 7^th at Deer Valley Golf Course. Check in begins at 8am with a shotgun start at 9am. The fee is $65 per golfer and includes 18 holes of golf with cart and lunch. Sponsors are being sought. Please contact Chris King at 815-632-9917 to inquire about sponsorship opportunities. Proceeds from the golf outing are earmarked for the Centennial Celebration of Post 296. Future outings will benefit various veteran organizations to be determined. Post 296 invites everyone to enjoy a day of golf with friends for a great cause.
