American Legion Post 296 Veteran Open House

Post 296 announces a veteran open house scheduled on September 21^st from 3pm-5pm. “This is a great opportunity for local veterans and their families to learn about benefits available to them as well as what the American Legion has to offer, “ remarked Post 296 Commander, Jim Gordon. A variety of information will be available about  American Legion Post 296,  American Legion Auxiliary Unit #296, American Legion S.A.L. Detachment #296, Whiteside County Veterans Assistance, Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs, Post 296 Chaplain, VA Loans, Whiteside County Honor Flight and Disable Veterans F350 Benefits. Activities are available to occupy children as well.
