Fall at Belden School – The Galena Territory

🍂🏫 Step back in time this fall at the historic Belden School Open House & Pumpkin Decorating event on Saturday, September 19, from 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. at the beautifully preserved 1859 one-room limestone schoolhouse in The Galena Territory.

🎃 Celebrate the harvest season by creating unique jack-o’-lantern faces using leaves, pinecones, acorns, berries, and other natural materials gathered from the surrounding woods. Explore one of Jo Daviess County’s historic landmarks, learn about life in a one-room schoolhouse, and enjoy a fun, family-friendly autumn tradition in a scenic setting.
